PLITVICE LAKES

Plitvice Lakes count among Europe's most beautiful national parks. They are situated in the mountainous region of Lika, Croatia. A total of 16 lakes lying at different altitutes are separated by travertine barriers and linked by foamy waterfalls and cascades. Their creation is a scientific phenomenon.
